National Yoga Month!
I wasn't quite sure what I was going to write this first post about until I got home tonight from hot yoga class and there it was, my inspiration for this post. I'm going to start this out by saying about a year ago I started doing slow flow yoga and took only that class for a long time before venturing out to other classes mainly because I LOVED that teacher. Once she moved though I decided to go to hot yoga and met another amazing teacher who I go to now for every hot yoga class as long as I'm not working that day. Let me just say tonight was amazing! I may not have been at my highest point in practice, but we practiced a lot of handstands tonight, which we don't usually do at every practice. They are my favorite, by the way. Also, I learned some new things about my body and how stretched out I could really be and still be pretty comfortable. Yoga can do amazing things for you and I cannot say that enough. With all the benefits it gives you PLUS how it makes you feel during and afterwards is just the best feeling ever. I cannot express it enough, and hot yoga with the room all toasty and sweat pouring off of you while you do your practice just feels so good and is such a great detox for the body! With September being national yoga month, this is what I wanted to post about and hopefully encourage other people to go try yoga, any kind, see what's right for you and what you like best!. Namaste.
